* The majority of our music comes from the Jumping' Jim's Ukulele Songbook, The Daily Ukulele, compiled and arranged by Liz and Jim Beloff. We refer to this book as the "Yellow Book", because of the color of the cover. You can obtain this book from local book or music stores.
The jam will take the format of a song circle. In song circles, multiple people take turns leading a song. If you're too shy to lead a song, no worries! You will be provided with other easy ways to participate. You can pick your song from the Yellow Book or from another source. (If you pick it from another source, please bring at least 25 copies of the song with you for others.)
Cynthia Rogers will lead the following songs for the song circle (from the Yellow Book):
The More We Get Together p. 320
All My Loving p. 19
When I’m Sixty-Four p. 262
Shall We Gather At The River p. 208
Edelweiss p. 75
You Are My Sunshine p. 279
If you would like to do an open mic performance,
you can do so when it's your turn to lead a song.
Unless the health department issues a mask mandate, masks are optional.
Any person who feels unsafe can continue to protect themselves by wearing a mask.
We will continue to require proof of vaccination and practice social distancing.
We'll have a box of masks available in case you need one.
Thanks for your cooperation!
