Bellingham Ukulele Group 2nd Annual Campout
Finally, it's almost time for the 2nd Annual BUG Campout at Rasar State Park!
If you haven’t already signed up, contact Evelyn or Gail so we have a final number of those attending. Camps can be set up anytime after 1:00pm on Friday, August 24.
When you arrive at camp, you will be asked to sign up for a volunteer slot to help with the chores during the week-end. Linda Darks will be the volunteer co-ordinator and have the list of tasks that need to be done. We do need one person to volunteer (in advance) to build the BBQ fire Saturday evening. If you would like to do this, please contact Evelyn or Gail.
This year we have a special event, the "Shaving Cream" Song Lyric Contest. Download details on the contest and listen to the mp4 file. Start thinking about your verse(s).
An example:
For people who play ukulele
It’s tempting to thrash it a bit.
Although it may feel good to thrash it
To other folks it sounds like … Shaving cream …
